Fundamental Rules

  1. Should a player or official be penalized with a match penalty or a second game misconduct penalty in a championship game, that player or official will be suspended automatically for the ensuing championship game.

  2. Should a player receive a second game misconduct penalty, that player will be suspended automatically for the ensuing championship game. The same applies to the fourth, sixth, etc. game misconduct penalties.

If a player is assessed a game misconduct penalty because he received a second misconduct penalty in the same game, then only the game misconduct penalty will count in the calculation under (1).

Following the end of the regular season and the end of the championship, all game misconduct penalties still in effect are erased.
