C - EBEL Roster Regulation 2016-2017HOT


  • National or transfer card player transfers from one international club to another inter-national club (eg. ITA-player transfers from CZE-team to AUT-club or a CAN-player transfers from an EBEL-club to another EBEL-club):

    Regulation in paragraph (1) and (4) is valid

  • National player transfer from one national EBEL club to another (eg. AUT-player transfer from AUT-club to another AUT-club)

    Regulation in paragraph (2) and (4) is valid

  • National player transfer from a national EBEL club to an international EBEL club (eg. HUN-player transfers from a HUN-club to a CZE-club)

    Regulation in paragraph (1) and (4) is valid

  • National player transfer from an international EBEL club to a national EBEL club (eg. SLO-player transfers from AUT-club to SLO-club)

    Regulation in paragraph (3) and (4) is valid
  1. Transfer Card players with foreign nationality may change clubs within EBEL until December 31th, 2016 if the players‘ original team states in written that it does not object to the change. Transfer card players may change clubs within EBEL if there are valid reasons for a justified departure under the regulations of applicable national labor law.

  2. Until IIHF Transfer Deadline date, National players may change from one domestic club to another within the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga (EBEL) if the transferring club confirms its consent to the change in writing or if there are valid grounds for a justified departure under the regulations of applicable national labor law.

  3. Until IIHF Transfer Deadline date, national players may change from an International club to a national club within the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga (EBEL) if the transferring club confirms its consent to the change in writing or if there are valid grounds for a justified departure under the regulations of applicable national labor law.

  4. If a player becomes eligible for transfer within the EBEL the league must be notified by an official declaration by the team releasing the player.
